Are the springs wrapped at the bottom? More then likely, if your rear springs had 2 or 3 coils on the bottom that were kind of piled together and didn't have any kind of plastic/rubber coating on them, it's the bare metal coils slapping each other as they expand and contract.

If in fact one is loose, you can reach in and feel which one is out of place. Your springs are "seated" in the strut meaning the bottom side is wound around to a point on the spring perch where there is a rise in the plate. The end of your spring should be butted up against that raised section.

Well see my wife went to a shop and had them order and install them. I am thinking that they may have put in the wrong ones, or at least the worng size... They are Eibach (Spelling?) lowering springs so i dont know what in the **** could be wrong... They started moving around after about a week (once the springs set) and they have been making the noise (both)ever since. I am going to put the factory one back on and see what happens. If there is no popping noise every time i hit a bump or turn the wheel then i know they are the wrong springs. Any sugesstions?

Before you change anything out, call Eibach and talk to them. Check the part numbers installed by the shop if you can and provide them. Actually I think you can verify the correct part numbers on line and then call and describe your problem to Eibach.

Quick edit.

Took about 30 seconds to retrieve correct spring numbers:

Pro Kit lowers 1.1 inch 4220.140

Sportline kit lowers 1.6 inches 4.2042
