hi the nature of the problem is not consistent, when it s cold, it works , when it heats up ,it acts up crazy, but sometimes it works perfect, one thing for sure, if l bring it to dealer repair, they might not able to locate the problem, its very intermitten. andy

QUOTE(andy_c @ Jun 12 2008, 02:17 PM) hi the nature of the problem is not consistent, when it s cold, it works , when it heats up ,it acts up crazy, but sometimes it works perfect, one thing for sure, if l bring it to dealer repair, they might not able to locate the problem, its very intermitten. andy Keep a camera in the car and just record the times it goes haywire... It could be as simple as a faulty sensor. My SF had a single issue in the whole time I've owned it: At random times, the engine would lose a lot of power and jerk a bit. We could never reproduce the problem. One day it happened to my wife when she was passing by the dealership and just drove right in. The service manager got in the car and they didn't even have to leave the parking lot. Turns out the ignition coil for one of the cylinders was acting up and all it took was an afternoon for them to get the part and change it. Rock solid ever since.
