Hi, I've just had my TCS light to go out and my cd player stopped working, is this a fuse? or something worse?

Yes, it is highly likely that you had two fuses blow. The fuse diagram is in your owner's manual. Check the driver compartment fuse box first. A fuse tester and assortment of fuses is only $16 at Autozone.
