Pioneer I love for inside speakers and head units and mids and high amps not for subs... Now inside what a amp does is not just make it louder but clearer pioneer will do this. For subs unless it there comp amps I dont recommened using them you can get a cheap 2000 watt amp for like 300 usd but your distortion on the non qulity amp may damage you subs faster so my rec is get a good amp. My personal choice is mmats but there pricey but worth it, but not sure what you guys have over there if you can shoot me some names in your price range I will deff help you out. Now to alpine there subs are good but they dont really hit hard or long they heat up quick thus bass hits not as hard. My friend did all alpine in his jdm civic head unit amps inside speakers and subs type r v12 amps etc. Now for clearity there awesome but if you want people to hear you they can but he lended up changing to kicker set up. Hope i was help full
hi all
ive got a '99 excel (australia) and am slowly upgrading the sound system
ive got a Pioneer DEH2950MP Headunit
Alpine Type R 6.9" speakers in my rear parcel shelf
Apline Type S 4" speakers in my front doors
now i know its all was underpowered and thats why im looking to get an amp(s) and sub.
what would you recomendations be for maximum sound for minimum cost
ive been quoted around $650 for a:
Alpine Type R 12" sub
a Pioneer 750W 4 channel amp and pioneer 450W 2 channel amp i think.
just wondering if its at all neccessary.
thanks ahead for any input
