Is the gasoline leaded?
*

No, no more leaded gasoline where I live. And it is 87 octane. The 93 octane is more expensive.

Wow I used to do that when I lived in Vegas. Now I only drive about 7.5 miles round trip for work. That's including going home and back to work on my lunch break. Lol. I feel your pain man. I have been there before.

Rondy, you have really cheap gas down there. :) I've read news stories of a lot of folks along the border head into Mexico for the cheap gas... Truckers especially, since it really pays off for those guys!

Torbo, way to go, be a good samaritan! I never charged people gas money either and would rarely take it if they did try to give it to me. But I'd always be willing to top off the tank for a friend's car if I rode somewhere with them.

I'm not nice enough to fill up some SUV though. :P They can buy their own **** gas for that guzzler. I'll take all that money and buy a few weeks worth of groceries. lol!

Torbo, I imagine that smokes + gas is getting pretty pricey! I quit back when you could get a pack of Marlboros for like $2.something and I thought that was bad. :cigareta:

87 it is then! I know i go the cheapest at the gas station. I never pay attention to the number of octane. I still paid an outrageous price and I drive 45 miles round trip to and from work.

They say Sacramento, CA is in the top 5 for highest gas prices in the US. Although, when you live in a state with the highest average gas price in the US, you're bound to be towards the top of the list

Oh, ok. It wouldn't surprise me if they had lower octanes, they vary widely throughout the country on what is considered regular, midgrade, and premium. Some places out west are below 87 for the "regular" grades.

I feel for ya, you folks on the west coast sure have to pay at the pump... and for everything else!
