I have recently bought a ViVA CRDi in India. i was just curious to know how much to expect in Mileage during the first 3000 KM. Has any one noticd any change in overall noise levels after the first 3000 KMs ? Thanks for the response..

I have had the same question too.

Initially I was getting 16kmpl in city driving, which after one filling came down to 13/14 kmpl in the city driving. On the highway (Bombay - Pune) I have been getting 16/17 kmpl. This data relates to pre-3000 kms run.

I did not see much change after the first service. Therefore, I had to get it checked again by the workshop for more than expected engine noise, vibrations etc. After the first service and checking, the engine sounds much better, and the vibrations are much less, the in-cab noise level has dropped.

I am checking the milage again, and hope to get at least 16kmpl in city with AC on.
