I have a 1991 Hyundia Excel 4 door. Whenever I start the car and try to go the car lags. It takes 3-5 seconds to go. It will also die at stoplights or when the vehicle slows down. I just replaced the fuel pump and filter but the problem remains. I just can't figure this one out

It sounds like you dont let your car warm up enough. If you have a manual choke lever, leave it out for a few minutes. My 87 Excel takes about 1 minute to warm up but I leave the choke out for about 300 meters
