I'm thinking of buying a set of four tires from tirerack.com

How much should I expect for the installation of the four tires at a local mechanic shop?

I assume that buying tires from tirerack and having them installed at a local mechanic shop would be cheaper than buying and installing tires from mrtire.

If you are gettign a wheel and tire package from tire rack, DIY. teh wheels are already balanced and everything. Just put them on, drive about 50-75 miles and rtighten the bolts.

I'm not interested in buying wheels at this point.

I'm not sure if Walmart's tire mount cost includes one time balance.
