hi, i hope i'm in the right section, i own a 97 excel sprint and i have recently replaced the battery. but i noticed that the radio isn't working anymore, it just comes up with 'CODE'.. i have the code, but theres nothing in the manual on how to enter it. i have a feeling you have to use the tuning arrows, but i can't work out how to get it to that stage. please help..

P.S. the radio i think is a philips DC 283.. if that helps

cheers,

tony

There should be buttons on the stereo that are like 1, 2, 3 and so on. So when you need to put in the CODE, just use those buttons and it should go after you put in the last digit.

Hope that helps
