It's your battery it's dying and needs to be replaced. A dying battery can do strange things to you engine management system. I had a similar problem and no dealer found it until I let the battery go flat and the problem was solved.

Before replacing the battery, have it tested. Alot of times a faulty TPS ( throttle position sensor) will also cause this. In order to properly diagnose the TPS you would have to graph it using a scan tool. Also check that the accelerator cable is not in a bind. Usually when a battery gets discharged you will have a hard time starting the vehicle. The easiest battery test to do without a tester is to turn the ignition key to the accesory position, turn on your headlights and turn your blower on high.Leave the key on for 5 minutes and then try starting your car. If a battery is defective the vehicle wil not start. It is best to perform a complete diagnosis before wasting money.

thanks alot guys... i'll have the TPS checked first. but shouldn't the stored codes come out on the hi-scan if it was the TPS? but still, i'd better get it checked.
