Speaking of dead horses...

I think I'm going to name my azzy Barbaro. Then I can put her down for having "bad legs". Just like the horse, she's got the strength, speed and drive but without strong legs she's of little use to anyone. And in the world of horse racing just like it apparently is in the world of Hyundai, there is no reasonable or acceptable fix to the problem. I just need to look over my insurance policy and see if euthanization is a covered loss. Hopefully I don't get harassed by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Automobiles.

I wonder if the "bad legs" have really been been addressed on the '09s? Retro fitting should be relatively easy, I would think. Under a grand and I would probably go for it. I'm still charmed with the Azzie after two and a half years.

Well, the front suspension is done to death I think, I now find it interesting that the rear suspension (I took photos in another thread) is a 4-point multilink suspension, and it seems to be "right", at least from some cursory performance observations. I wonder why Hyundai didn't just use that multilink design on all 4 corners. I believe Genesis is going to use a new 5-point multilink on all 4 corners, so at least we don't have to worry about the weaknesses of the dual A-arm front setup there.
