Sometimes my locking system would go on and off;now,however in order for me to lock and set alarm I need to manually lock drivers side. Then using remote to open sometimes it works sometimes not and I wud hve to use key. Is this the actuator or what?

Yes it is the door lock actuator. Since you reported no problems with the passenger door locking, we assume that you press the lock button on your key fob transmitter and the passenger door locks fine.

Your security system receiver is working. Your passenger door actuator is working. Only leaves one thing.

im actually having a similar problem. My driver side door wont let me lock it or unlock it from both the inside and outside. My keyless entry doesnt work either, but i might go get it scanned somewhere to see if it fixes it. Occasionally the door will let me use the key to unlock it or lock it on the driver side.

i'm having that same problem first it was just the driver side, but now i can't lock or unlock any doors in or out and the fob totally stopped working i don't know what to do i HATE leaving it unlocked like that. anybody know what this might cost?????
