Thanks a lot, now I just found something else to buy for my Santy :bwekk: . Those looks really nice and compliment the car well. As you said, hopefully someone came chime in.

I was ready to write off the idea by thinking I don't need to do anything to my SF, then I saw the pics and I'm SOLD.

KAI is probably going to want $500 for them, or more!

My sister-in-law and brother-in-law speak Korean fluently. They were missionaries in Korea for 20 years. They are currently missionaries in New Zealand tending to the extremely large Korean population there.

I have sent her a post to get info re price and possible shipping charge to US.

Will get back to this thread when I get an answer.

David,

That is most excellent news, please keep us informed.

I still haven't received anything for KAI in regards to pricing or if they could get them.

I got a response from KAI....

They will charge $460 to order them then another $20 to ship them to us.

Being that they are full tail lights I don't see this as being that bad.

I also believe they will be getting these themselves as it was hinted they will cost $499.95 on their website.

For those playing along at home KAI has put them on their website for purchase.

My purchase got postponed due to some suprising news at the workplace today.

I wouldnt feel comfortable spending the money with an uncertain future.

(Well no ones future is certain....But you understand)

But please, someone buy them and let us know how they are.

I will more then likely pick these up in the future.

Use the internet to your advantage,,,, there is an english add on that Korean page. By doing a google search, this is what I came up with.

http://www.eautoworks.com/product-Anzo-115...ai-Santa_Fe.htm

$286.79 EACH - OUCH!

As mentioned those are Sonata TLs, but the description does say SF. It troubles me that they didnt even take the time to photograph the actual lights so who knows what you'll be getting. Beside the other lights look quality and would be worth the added cost.

Besides, I have seen that webpage before doing an earlier serach for LED lights.

If I do proceed with getting them (considering trading my SF in for an 09 Sonata) then the ones from KAI are the ones to have.

They really look good on the Korean web site the main question is they show the lower assemblies are changed but they dont show them being changed in the installation pictures So the question is does the $286 include all the assemblies in the back or just the taillight assmblies not the lower assemblies.

It's the 4 tail light pieces only, not the bumper lights, which you can buy separately.

Being the lights are pretty new, my guess is they are showing the Sonata lights being they are of similar size and layout.

Just got a call from my sister-in-law.

They are in the process of moving from New Zealand and coming back to the States so she has not been able to get to her e-mails.

I have noticed that the info you needed has been provided without my help anyway. This is probably good because even though my brother-in-law and sister-in-law speak Korean fluently, she informed me tonight that neither of them can read the written word very well.

Those lights are absolutely sweet but like many of us, they aren't in my budget at this time either.

Let's see, maybe if I mortgaged my property..............................................and didn't tell my wife........................................ :whistling:

Did you get the lights? If so do they fit like a glove or is some modification necessary? Start plug and play? Do you have any pictures ?
