Hi Scrichards

Big Welcome to the forum, from me in the UK. I too have a 2007 Tucson being the Limited Version 138Bhp Model and I tow a caravan with mine.

I would suggest that you don't have anything like a superchip inserted into your Hyundai for one it will show up on the Hyundai computer when it gets hooked up at service time and also will give Hyundai a chance to invalidate your warranty.

Saying goodbye to your warranty could be plenty costly in the next 4 years if something major needed doing.

Come along to Hyundai owners club of Great Britain web site where there is quite a Tucson membership now. We have discussed powerboxes as an alternative to chipping and maybe this will be a way forward for you as it can be removed prior to servicing, although this too is an area that may be unacceptable to Hyundai.

PM me directly if you want more info.

Cheers
