How many 4 door sedan owners are there and how do you like your car.

I have a pretty basic 2008 Accent GLS, wine red, Auto transmission, AC, and XM. That about sums it up. I purchased it the morning after it came off the truck. No time for the dealer to put on $50 dollars worth of stuff and charge me $995 dollars for the crap I don't want anyway.

I only have 180 miles on the car, so no review as of yet, but I can say I enjoy it more and more everytime I drive it. The only thing I've found was the car dislikes rail road tracks as should be expected with 14" wheels.

The only mods I have in mind are tinting the windows (Next week) and getting the SRI (working on the wife).

Rob

Well, there are a couple of 4-Door owners on here. Suprised no one has come forth. Myself, I prefer my 3-Door.

4-door owners unite! I sometimes get the impression that people on the board only acknowledge the existance of the 3-door. j/k hatch peoples. :P

I love mine, it's been 2 years and 39,000 miles and everything's been great. Smooth ride, quiet/roomy/comfy interior, great build - still no squeaks or rattles! Good on gas. Rockin' A/C. Lots of nice features too that I really appreciate. Plus it's pretty darn reliable.

It's been the best car I've ever owned. ;)

I can't lie, I really wanted the three door. Little to big to fit it properly. 6'2" 240lbs. 14 year old son 6'1" 213 lbs and even my 12 year old is to big to sit in the back comfotably. I love the three doors, but felt clostraphobic. So, the four door it was. The more I drive it the more I like it. The AC works a whole lot better than the AC in the old PT. In West Texas that is more important than I can say.

I have the 4 door. Im probably alittle over 6ft 160lbs. its comfortable but wish there was the seats were just aliitle softer maybe some seat covers will take care of that

I wanted the 2 door but they didnt have one in auto and the 4 door works better for my paper route. I wish i got the one with power widows but my budget wont allow it right now maybe next car. I plan on paying ahead on the car. :auto:

Welcome to the boards. Becareful with the seat cover's if you have the side air bags in the seats. I don't have power windows either, so don't feel bad. What part of IL you in??

up in northern IL. I really like this car coming off a diesel pickup this car feels really fast lol although im keeping it between 2000 and 3000rpms when taking off. trying to go by the breakin period. I use to not like little cars until met this car. it just works so perfect for my paper route i can get into tight places where my truck couldnt like this one house i have to pull into and drop the paper in the back door there would be cars parked all around the entrance but this little car just makes it a breeze.
I dont think i got the airbags in the seats but would it say it on my the window sticker that had the price for the car? I'll ask the dealer to be safe im heading over there for the remote start my dad loves this cars so much to he has a dodge grand caravan but doesn't have to drive very far for work.
also I was wondering if the ram air intake would be worth it for this car for mpg and horsepower bump?
really I take my hat off to you Hyundai for making such a awesome car.

Edit:I cant wait for my almost matching Satin Baseball Jacket to get to me its
navy blue so it might come close wont know until it gets here.
from http://www.cardinalactivewear.com/home.html
yeah im 21 year old guy that just wont grow up except my love for trucks is long gone.since figuring out how much money im saving with alittle car like this
although i still semi trucks because i can make money driving them.
Ive got to get a refreasher and get with a good company yet.
Edit number2: I just checked the website i think I'll stay away from the seat covers
editnumber3: just change my jacket order to royal blue navy is alittle to dark for me

I used to live in Chicago and Neko live's up around there as well. As for the SRI I think it would be worth it. Or just to build your own, alot cheaper.

Ive got a 2006 4-door with the "sport package". Ive done a ton of driving these past two years so Ive close to 51K miles on it and no problems other than an annoying engine tick on start-up. Ive been averaging 34-37mpg freeway (got up to 39 one time). This car has been great so far and I enjoy maintaining it.

'07 4 door here too. Love the car and find it very comfortable. Would have liked to have cruise control for the long trips but don't get tired or stiff after 2-3 hours behind the wheel.
