just bought an accent today, found this forum and got on...
a 3dr 07,black..like it so far..down time from driving,im a cook, and have been for many years...hotels,restaurants,country clubs, pizza places..whatever you like,i can make it...dont cook a whole lot at home, when i do its usually mex or stir fry...i usally just eat at work.....lost my 9 year tech job this year, business folded,so,back in the kitchen...actually its been a blessing, sweated off 50 pounds of fat,met a lot of nice ladies, made some friends, its ok..

majored in history in college,if i get free time,i like to read old books that nobody cares about, shoot guns, esp. older ones...muzzleloaders also..video games, tech stuff a bit...really dig lifting weights, prolly my favorite thing to do...

so you guys dig the accent huh?i want mine to last a long time, want to learn about mods that might increase mileage, lifespan of car etc.....the 07 i bought has 10 k on it...so,still a baby..

hey Torbo, fellow Cincinnatian here,In the up in the valley near sharonville...small world..

I like rugers a lot too, great guns...dont you ever sell that Colt hammerless now, unless its to me! :innocent: .....heirlooms like that are really priceless though, family history and all...

grilling is awesome...probably the first way human beings cooked, goes back to hunter-gatherer days...meat...fire...grrrr..

it hasnt realy hit me yet, that there is a reliable, fully functional vehicle outside that i can drive without worrying about...though it does make me nervous,my punk neighbors dont have the best manners,I guess it will take a week or two for the newness to wear off...

i looked at it in its parking space for a minute last night..that car is small!..thats what i wanted though..i always wanted a "x"..nice truck, fast car,etc...but,when reality hit,i realized i needed something small and practical..4.09 a gallon today..well,im happy, thrilled really..gotta really ditch the cigarettes now..my last vice, and the budget will fall in line, wish me luck,i cant bring myself to smoke in the ride...

hey torbo, funny it really is a small world......regrettably,i do donate a quick half hour to target world on rare occasions....i have 2 probs, well, many problems, with them:they dont maintain the range and its dangerous with the behavior of some folks there...i watch everyone for a while before i go in...

yeah,i think the cigs gotta go,its been a problem for a while, time to man up and fix it..i think owning this car will change my life pretty dramatically...i was driving home from work just now thinking...dont be a fool, youve got what you wanted for so many years(reliable car) and now you're wimping out lol...ill just be poorer is all,in actual dollars, but much richer in mobility, which was the whole point of this car buying exercise!

anyway..ill hang around here and learn,im starting to like these little cars..

i stay far away from target world because of the people up there that dont practice safe gun use/etiquette... brass all over the floor, people up there dont finger index at all, they walk all over the place, loaded, finger on the trigger... im waiting to read about someone gettin shot...

i filled up the car today, and cheap stuff was $4.09/gallon.... after these cigs are gone, im done smoking! cant afford both..

i hear what your saying about the "wimpy" feeling of owning a smaller car, and trust me, coming from driving a 94 chevy caprice to driving this... like night and day... but i think about the money im saving, and the peace of mind of knowing i have a BRAND NEW CAR! (my first brand new vehicle) i love it!

we should get together to meet if ya want..

24/F/Sacramento, CA

I'm 5'8", 135lbs. No kids. I'm a store manager for Lady Footlocker (yes I get the discount at all footlockers, champs, and footaction), and I have been dating my boyfriend for 3 years. He is currently going to school for mechanical engineering full time but he also works full time at FedEx Ground.

In my free time I go to movies, the gym (mainly swimming), play pool, or roadtrips. I also love photography, and I absolutely looooove to cook. I come from a family who cooked for a living, so i have a lot to live up to. My boyfriend doesn't complain too much. My favorite dish is a tie between my homemade mashed potatoes and chicken curry.

Although i love road trips and movies, i love to stay home and watch TV just as much. Family guy is a good show, the office, 30 rock, and rules of engagement are some other favorites. Thank goodness for a DVR to make all my TV watching possible.

I'm currently out of school but i plan to go back for early child care development to be a kindergarten/preschool teacher, and finish up my physical training certification to become a personal trainer when i'm not teaching.

I love to go fast. I drive the crap outa my car. Been as fast as the roads will let me go. 120mph so far.

I have a myspace page if anyone wants to check it out.My...Myspace...dilly-ma-bobber...

Other than that I surf the web looking for the next mod for meh car. Really waiting to see some spectacular body kits and such. Oh and an easy way to retrofit the headlights for HID kits.

Happy Modding and keep it simple.

cute turtles! if i had a 20 gallon long tank i would do turtles or a live in terrarium with a few lizards, maybe a gecko.. when i was 5 we lived in northern Texas (Amarillo) and found horned toads all the time, kept them in a 20 gallon tank, and in another 20 g tank we had pond fish (Sunnies) got too nasty, we too young to take care of it, so dad tossed it out... but the bug bit me again, found this 66 gallon tank and could pass up the deal! i will be filling it and leak testing it on wednesday after the sealant cures... ill keep y'all posted! ONETWENTY, your opinon on a background, should i get a plastic tape on background, or should i paint the back 3 sides blue or black? (or some other color)
