just kinda curious as to what other folks are doing when we are not currently doing a mod, or browsing the web for your next mod.. what do y'all do in your spare time? work? school? gardeing? kids?

im 32, im single, no kids and im kinda boring. I've been called predictable. i can see it...
i go to work down in the city at the Kroger building. Kroger is a supermarket chain in the states. in the midwest, its Kroger, out west towards Colorado and Nebraska, its King Sooper.. I dont work FOR Kroger, but i work for a company that does work for them.. a contractor if you will.. I personally work in the coorporate office in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. 26+ floors to this building and most of them have cubicles.... we are currently working on remodeling the interior of the building on specific floors. the carpet needs to be changed out, but all these cubicles are in the way and need to be taken down and stored somewhere.. TORBEN, get in here! I oversee ANOTHER contract company to come in, take down the cubicles(lending a hand also) storing the parts till the new carpet is laid, then i oversee the new cubicle layout beeing built... it like a giant Erector set, for big kids! (lol i said erector) my sister has given me the title of "Cubicle Engineer" :) when my grueling day is done and i fly home, erm, drive safely home on the expressway... i like to chill, watch some tv and grill out, even when there is 12+ inches of snow on the ground... i love to watch my raw food turn into something of a masterpiece when just the right amount of heat is applied... im currently learning the fine art of smoking on the grill, and the food trials have turned out deleicious! my older brother who works for Cabelas, hunts and fishes when hes not in the photog studio. he and i have traded insight about grilling and smoking, and he is the one i give credit to for my knowledge of grilling/smoking...
im 5'9" and i only weight 155 Lbs, and i love to eat! just wondering how i maintain this figure.........

25/m/left coast of canuckistan/single/6'2" or so/~240lbs... too much, i know - i bet it's hurting my fuel economy!

work:

i sell security alarm, video surveillance & controlled access systems. (think the keyfobs you use to get into an apartment building.) & for several months i was delivering supplies to pizza restaurants. i've been on a few week break from that, and may return as a sales rep instead - evening/weekend sales. also, my older bro & i are north american online sales for http://www.truesnowboards.com

family stuff:

i live w/ my 2 brothers, sisinlaw & 3yo nephew. i also have a 5yo god daughter & 1yo god son. & my best friend's baby girl to spoil.

recreational stuff:

snowboard. longboard. kiteboard. (land, snow/frozen lakes, surf.) mountainbike. (single track trail riding in a wooded area near by.)

and i'm also pretty good at drinking beer. :D (or making drinks, i bartended for 4 years.)

i also bbq year round - it's the best way to cook.

getting my best friend into some light biking & kiteboarding this summer. and since i can read lips fairly well and know some basic sign language to interpret, i'll get a free refresher lesson on the water as he takes his lesson. owning, imo.

i dont snowboard, but the courage line of boards are nice! i used to be a skiier in my young life (jr high)
my older bro (photographer) is in nebraska and my older sis teaches golf in florida.. my dad is in construction and my mom works at the local nursing home in patient accounts..

i used to work for Donatos Pizza and one of our new stores that opened in Florence Ky uses those key fobs to get in the back door.. pretty cool design..

getting back into the mountain biking again this summer too...gotta get back in shape, im such a lazy bum! lol

i just bought another used bike (outgrew the last one) so i can pedal off a few lbs before kiteboarding... as i gained too much over the winter & i don't want to have to buy a bigger kite or board for the water. :P

Well I'm 28 and single, I work like a horse at Novabus. On my freetime I go biking anywhere I could. I enjoy fishing , and I'd say 3/4 of my free time I play PS3.

37 married, 1 daughter.
Manager at a Collision Center.
I took the last week off to do some renovations around the house. Just installed all new windows throughout. Have 1 left to do and I'm Done!
Going to re-stain the Cedar Siding on the house this summer as well.
I'm a DIY Junkie. I refuse to pay anyone for anything I know I can do.
Even if it takes me 3x as long.
I'm a German car junkie as well, but currently only have asian cars. Wife drives the Hyundai and I drive a new Mazda 3 Sport 2.3L
Spare time...what friggin spare time? We work all the time. On the occasional weekend I can drop the kid off with my mom and we catch some sun at the beach and catch up on sleep.

Hang out with my wife. We met on the internet and she came here from the Philippines to marry me. We mostly work around the yard. We've got 10 acres in the middle of nowhere. You can't see another house from our place on a dead end road in the woods. Life if great and I've never been happier. I highly recommend a filipina wife!

23/M/Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'm engaged, no kid's. I work for NAPA Auto Parts. I'm actually stationed at a NAPA Auto Care Center as a Internal Busines Solutions postion. Meaning, I do all the part's ordering for the shop I'm stationed at. I am also a ASE Certified Parts Specialist. I work M-F 8-5:30 and have every weekend off. Very nice I might add. In my spare time I usually just relax. Just bought a Wii not to long ago and mastered Mario Kart and Wii Sports (Bowling and Tennis), also finishing up my Expert Career on Guitar Hero III. Other than that I used to ride BMX; Street and Dirt. Don't ride anymore since I messed up my knee in Chicago when I was drunk 1 night. I mainly just sit at home on the weekend's and get really really drunk and smoke the Buddha. Every other weekend we go out to her parent's house to hang out for a couple hours. About a 40 Minute drive or so. I hope to get back into BMX this summer/fall. Need to catch up on some bills before I can build up 1 of my Bike frames I have. I am currently trying to quit smoking Buddha and Cig's. Getting to be expensive with Gas at $4 a gallon. Also it's time to grow up and get out of the "drug" use phase. The cool thing about me trying to quit Cig's is that NAPA offer's what's called a Free and Clear Tobacco Program where they help you to stop smoking for free, to help promote healthy living, and so they can have a healthy employee. Lol, it's really a cool program I am gonna try soon. Prolly wont happen till fall when all the Summer Shop Stress fades and I don't have to smoke as much. Lol.

42/male/divorced/Alabama/5'9" 160lbs
I am semi disabled/retired due to kidney/pancreas transplant 6 years ago,and open heart surgery 2 years ago.
Half owner in a small (5 employees)roofing/remodeling/framing business.Keeps my mind sharp, though I can't do a lot of the physical work anymore.
Spare time usually spent hanging out with friends or girlfriend and her two kids..
Last 3 months haven't been able to drive, wash,or wax my car due to a ladder falling and breaking both bones in right leg just above the ankle.
Now have a steel plate and screws .It's driving me nuts not been able to fish and stuff.
And especially since I haven't been able to mod anything on my car since the weather is warm now.I love doing DIYs like Rondy headlight mod and such.Making the car my "own",different from any other I see.I spend a lot of time on here and the net trying to learn all I can in order to create "my" Accent.Which by the way was my first new car purchase.
I guess one could say I was boring, but hey I am just proud to be here. :460:

Oh and heck if it weren't for grilling us guys would starve to death LOL

42 yeras old, U.S. Air Force retired/Disabled Vet, 9-1-1 Dispatcher for a USAF Fire department.

Time off spent with my 12 and 14 year old boys and wife. Like to fish, spend time at the shooting range teaching the boys safe firearms handling. Enjoy computer and car stuff.

If if were physically possible for me to do it I definately would. Had the chance to come up there about 12 year ago as a carpenter building the support pads for the pipelines, but my son was only 12 at the time and I couldn't leave him.

Oh and Rob Thanks for your service! :liebe011:

I'm 20, live in the suburbs of Toronto, and work in an office loft the city.
I went to school for photography, got my degree, did a couple of photoshoots and got hired by a sister company of Universal Music. I am the head of their graphic design and art department, and their lead photographer, which allows me to get outsourced to Universal for bigger jobs etc.
One of the advantages of working there is that i get to goto awesome industry parties and mingle with famous people [no lie/exaggeration]. I have a publishing deal with a book company to put out a hardcover coffee table book of Canadian rock bands that i've been shooting live for the past few years.
I have a visual mind, and enjoy using it to it's greatest ability.
I'm single, and dont really have any intention of wasting my time with girls that arn't worth it in the end.
I'm 20, but I feel like I live the life of a 34 year old.
one day maybe people will know my name.. at least that's the plan.
spare time consists of being with friends, watching T.V. , I'm a big fish nerd, so I deal with my tank and I just built a terrarrium.

oh man, once everything's in front of me like this, i realize how mediocrely exciting my life is.

- matt.

I'm 21, 200lbs / 5'10" ...

I'm with my gf since 2 years, we are living together since last July.

I work for IBM as a technician. I do a lot of travel, this is why my car hit the 26,000 kms after 9 months and it will get worse in the next week. IBM got a huge contract with the National Bank to change their entire system so I will travel all over Canada. ;)

For hobby; AIRSOFT and I just started Golf. ;)
