Hi, vento95,

So far so good, for the jet. No problem.

I believe Komoco has stopped selling the jet.

FYI, mine is 3 and a half years now, mileage is 69,000km. Just replace the timing belt at 60,000km servicing. If you are looking at a 2nd hand jet, I suggest you looking for one with less mileage.

As for your psychological barrier regarding switching from sedan to MPV, the reverse applies for those driving MPV and switching to sedan. I cannot imagine myself ditching my MPV and going for a sedan. The high driving position we are accustomed to cannot be replaced so easily. I wouldn't even go for an MPV with a driving position similar to a sedan, such as a stream or wish.

Therefore my choice of MPV will be limited in the future.

I must also add that besides the driving position, the tall sitting position of passenger also make long trips less tiring, believe me!

Anyway, good luck to your hunting. Hope you can find one that is to your liking, but most important, to your CO's approval.

Hi iztsk

Yes, CO approval is extremely important.

Someone told me that I have to check whether the Warranty is transferable.

Any bros encountered before or know if Komoco allows the Warranty to be transfered to the 2nd owner?

Do I have to inform Komoco the AD of the change in ownership or do I just go and send in for servicing / warranty claims?

This question is now bugging me cos if the Warranty is void due to change in ownership, then I would have to budget for repairs.

Cheers

wow,

That is quite good mileage given that bros here say mileage is between 9 and 10 km / litre

Good to know that a stock jet loaded can go up Genting.

Any experiences to share on the jet - faults or + which i need to be "aware" of?

Prices of the jet seems to be stablizing for now.

Saw a jet for Auction but mileage is like 100K km for 2 yr + but Auctioning cheap.

I am taking my time to select / buy the jet cos it is a big decision to switch from a saloon to an MPV - Psychological amongst others.

I know I have to change but I guess I am trying to "resist" for as long as I can until I find the right Jet.

The Jet would have to be with me for at least 5 years and I need to feel the "call" when I look at any Jet - call it "love at first sight".  Havent felt any "call" yet from what I have seen.

Some call this emotive buying and it applies to buying a home or finding THE CO.

Haahahahaha.

Cheers

going up/down Genting for a 2L jet is not a problem, since I got my 2nd hand almost 3 yrs ago, have been to Genting almost 6 times, most of the time it is 4 adults + 4 kids + luggage for a 3D2N stay.

You can see here for my latest video (uploaded on youtube) on my 10-12 June 08 Genting trip.

on N/S HW is around 160-170+km/h, sometime max out at 185km/h
