This is the part where I screwed the first time, and it can be a pita if you have to do it several times.
Try to make the marks so that the center of them it’s also the center of the bulb. To get some pretty straight holes just take as reference the horizontal lines molded in the reflector. This is the best way to know if your holes are straight, those horizontal lines in the reflector are also horizontal in respect to the ground when the headlight it’s mounted on the car. Make sure they are straight otherwise your beam pattern would look weird and you would have to come back to this step. I’m not trying to scare you :P.
Also note that where you’ll be drilling the holes doesn’t go through any of the reflectors mount hardware, if so just move marks just enough so the rotozip bit can go through. Remember if you move one mark you have to move all the marks.
Drill the holes a little bit bigger than the screws of the projector, so you can have playroom to adjust the projector later. Now from the rear of the reflector draw a line from the center of where the bulb was all the way to the top of the reflector. This is to know where the bulb was point at.
Now you have to cut the complete base where you putted the bulb before, it is to make the hole big enough to put the projectors hole in there.
It should look something like this. Note that in this image those holes are not straight so I had to re-do them. Just drill the holes exactly where the horizontal line on the reflector is.

This is where the painting should be if you are painting the reflector or something. It is kind of tricky not to screw up the chrome.
Also you may want to make sure the projector is clean from the inside.
Put the projector into the reflector, it should look straight. You can move the projector and you are going to secure it with an extra nut or two in the rear of the reflector.
You should align the projector this way in order that the mounting hardware of the reflector can support the projectors weight.
Seeing the projector and the reflector from the rear, align the center of the projector so that it is slightly to the right in respect to the center of the bulb of the left headlight, or to the left in respect to the center of the bulb of the right headlight. What I mean is that when you are aligning your headlight you want to have the horizontal alignment screw almost all the way in so that the reflectors won’t pull off by itself. When aligning the headlights if you tight the horizontal alignment screw the beam goes outside the center of the car, that’s why you want the projector to be slightly very slightly pointing inwards the center of the car before the alignment comes in place.
This is the left reflector. The green line shows where the old bulb was pointing and the green arrow shows where the projector should be pointing. As you can see this picture was taken before I knew it had to be that way.

For the vertical alignment of the projector, you want to have the projector slightly upward.
This picture shows how it should be. The angle of that should be 90 degrees, as you can see the angle in the picture is obviously not 90 but that picture was taken before the right set up came out, so just make sure it is 90 when you are doing it.

When you get to align the projector right, secure it with the extra nut I mention to put before in the screws and also secure it with the nuts that you putted in the rear of the reflector, tighten them down a bit, but not too hard. I putted some black silicon in the inside nuts to prevent them from moving.

You may need to trim the screws in order to make the reflector fit in the headlight again. Now put the reflector in the headlight tightening the alignment screws like half the way in. Go to your car and align the headlights using the original alignment screws. Also check that you have a horizontal cut off line. If you don’t have a horizontal cut off line or your headlights can’t be adjusted go back to work with the reflector and projector until eventually you get it :P.

If everything is aligned, take out the reflector of the headlight again and put some JB weld at the back of the housing where the screws are. You may also want to put some JB weld on the inside of the reflector to secure the nuts stronger. Use some electrical tape to cover the hole where the bulb was.
It should look something like this. This is a picture taken before the right one came out. I actually used black silicone instead of JB weld because I got sick of removing JB weld. Black silicone is easier to remove but JB weld is stronger. That’s why I’m telling you to see if headlights can be aligned, if so use JB weld.

After the JB weld dries up. Put the projector back and go to the car and align it again. You want to make sure everything is aligned before putting the housing back together.
You may want to cover the projector’s hardware to make it look better and cleaner. You can buy the bezels or you can make your own by cutting some piece of aluminum or something. I just wanted it to look good so I got some angel eyes bezels. When I thought the pita was over, the bezels said NO, you have to trim them to fit the projector.

These angel eyes don’t light up. Putting some CCFLs will be one of my next mods.
As you can see the bezels don’t cover the projector completely. Maybe it would be nice to paint the projector also to make it stealth with the background. I didn’t do it, but would be nice. With the housing it looks very good anyway.

You are done with the retrofit. Clean everything very good. Put back the headlight together and now you are going to seal it. Just as when you were prying, now you are going to press them back together. Heat some part to soften the glue, and push them back, just do this until you seal the housing completely. Now put some black silicon all around just in case there was some imperfect seal. Put some shop towels where the turn signal bulb is, to let them absorb all the moisture that could be trapped. Leave them about 2 or 3 hours. Put the turn signal bulb again. And your almost done!.

Put the headlights back into the car. Now just plug n play your HID kit with your bi-xenon H4 harness. Install just like a regular HID kit, the only difference is that you are going to connect the high beam wires from the H4 harness to the bi-xenon projectors and that’s it.
Enjoy!

Video
http://video.cardomain.com/clip.aspx?key=FB3421A6F32F16C9You can get all the parts at eBay. I got mine from directly from
http://www.theretrofitsource.comThis mod can take several days, its better to get another set of headlights, plus if you sell the car you can put the stock headlights and keep the projectors for your next retrofit, lol.
The light improvement is amazing, I had HID kits before and this is far better.
I have 4300K bulbs. I suggest not going more than 6000K because the light gets bluer and it’s not useful. The Kelvin is inversely proportional to the light output. The more K you have the less light you are getting.
This was a long write up. I hope ends up doing this mod too.
