I wouldn't have made the claim if it wasn't true. And I've got pictures and written records to prove it. But, to answer the previous question, I haven't come close to 36 mpg in quite a long while. Haven't needed to, either, since I now live about 15-20 minutes from where I work and can drop my wife off at her job on my way to work.
I probably only put about 500-700 miles on my car now in a typical month, whereas before when I was doing the long commute and driving for optimum mpg I would put 5500+ miles on each month. You can do the math and see why mpg is not really that much of a priority for me anymore.
Hopefully, I can squeeze another year or two under warranty out of my 68,000-mile '06 Sonata before I get a Genesis. :thumbsup:
