Yeah, man, thanks a ton! Good to see you back, too. I'm still not back on a permanent basis until I get my computer hooked up at the new house, so it's quite sporadic here to say the least. I don't want to come back here too quickly, though, gotta let mamamia and craigbrooks prepare for the shock.
Good to see some of the old regs are still here, too, but what gives with making dogstar a SMOD? It's about time, eh? :)

Oh yeah, just bought an '08 Veracruz for my wife. Pretty cool ride.
Edit: Yeah, got rid of the Yukon. Wasn't worth much these days, with gas being what it is, and it had 136,000 miles. It was time.

Dunno what else I can write about to make this more :offtopic: ... guess it doesn't really matter, since this thread is destined for the Off Topic lounge anyway.

Well, anyway, take care and have fun watching the Stanley Cup finals...I was hoping the Pens would show up, but so far it doesn't seem to have happened. Bunch of young kids, they'll figure it out here sooner or later.

I am in a lose/lose situation here. One bro is a Flyers fan, and the other a Pens, so either way, I was going to see one of them in the finals. Trouble is, both teams have 2 Stanley Cups, and my beloved Sabres none, and I hear about EVERY SECOND day of every year. So, for one of them to win a third, would have been torture. Now, it looks like I'm a Wings fan, for another 2 games???

Looks like you're safe with your Wing-fandom. Gotta feel bad for Marc-Andre Fleury, though, taking a header when he was stepping out onto the ice at the Joe before the game...that's gotta hurt.

But Phil Esposito did the same thing in the Summit On Ice Super Series, in '72. (Although Phil slipped on a rose petal, so I thought that maybe that would be a good omen for Fleury. Apparently NOT.)

I thought the Pens had a fighting chance going into the series, too...guess it shows what I know. Where's the offense...? Sid the Kid, Malkin, Hossa...? Shut out the first two games. Crazy.

Oh well, at least there's Don Cherry on ESPN now. That is nice.

Let's get a few things straight.

1. We are allowed 14 DUI's here in Montana and I have 2 to go.

2. You guys didn't notice you drive the chinese truck from the bed. :w00t:

Time for a trip to crowbrook. I'll take the helicopter unless they are cleaning the sky too.

It was the swingin' 70's man. I guess I liked the way Gilbert Perrault's hair flew around, before he put on that half of a golf ball helmet. ???? (I grew up in Manitoba, and was the ONLY Sabres fan for miles!) Nothing but Leafs and Habs fans back then.

Wow, the good OLD guys are here again...... I thought you passed away, mc229.... And this thing calling itself Tommer, hmmmm.... Now I know for sure, duh!

Back to that truck? As long as the driver is seated in the back of it, it's good to go, safe and sound for the public.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat?????

Puleeeeeeeeze!

Driving drunk, and occasionally bumping into things, and then admitting it??? Lord no. Sharona is as straight as the day we adopted her.

That chick was from Trawna, not BC.

My feelings are hurt. :bwekk:
