Sturgis sounds interesting but my monthly gasoline bill is already higher than a car payment! And I'll have used all of my vacation - use it or lose it by the end of June so I'm using it this week and next.

17 weeks of vacation left?! I suggest you start using it up. I accrued a few weeks a number of years ago. Went on a 10 day vaction, leaving a couple weeks unused...while I was gone the company had been sold and the new owners didn't honor a single hour of my remaining leave - "We only bought the assets, not the liabilities - sorry."

17 weeks was for tommers amusement. Wan't him to think I woud actually head to Cranbrook. Wherever in hades that is. Thought it would be fun..Sturgis that is.

Just curious, how do you get on "google" street views?

Sorry Craig, they just closed our highway, for cleaning. They use very small brushes, so it could take a while. :(

17 weeks? What are you, a teacher???

I actually noticed Mep on Google Maps a few months ago. The picture was taken before I started doing any mods, so I'm guessing it was some time around late September or early October 2007.

They only caught her butt in the driveway though. I guess I'll have to start parking with the nose out.

If you're wanting to look at Google Street Views, you'll need to look up an address on maps.google.com. When you're zoomed in, you'll notice some of the roadways are outlined in blue (like in my pic above). Any road with a blue outline will have a street view. To see the street view, click the "Street View" button in the upper right corner of the map.

It's actually really nifty to play around with. So much for privacy! LOL!

I haven't actually seen the guy (or gal) who drives around here taking the street view shots, but I know (at least in this area) it's someone with a grey sedan (I think an Accord, but I'm not sure) with a rotating 360° camera mounted on the top. I've been looking for it ever since I discovered Google Street Views.

:liebe011: Thanks.

(I won't talk about that red beater on the right. At least it's a step up from his previous one.)
