 Peeling Paint Off Of Door Handles

My father has a 2003 Sonata and the paint is peeling off of the door handles. Vehicle is not garage kept, but the paint on the rest of the body is fine. Dealership indicates that this is not covered by the "bumper-to-bumper" warranty. Just curious: Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon? Thanks.

my 2001 has the same issue, I actually had to remove the rest of the paint as it literally made a massive slash in my hand one day. Its a fine ivory color now.

happened to my 01.I had the pear white,peeled it off to the ivory base,and used painters tape and rattle can to make a nice custom gloss black.Hasnt chipped since and looks alot better.

yea same things happening on my 02 sonata, might just replace them with chrome handles
