Hi. I replaced the filter and pump on my xg but it won't start now. When I turn the car over some fuel comes out where the fuel line plugs into the top of the pump assy, but it's not much. Any ideas why my xg might not be pumping?

Thanks, Mike

Did you make sure you replaced all your wires? Did you remove your fuel pump fuse and if you did, did you put it back ? Also recheck your connections at the pump. You may need to prime it by turning the ignition on and off several times.

The car was losing power progressively as I pushed down the accelerator pedal. Did OK if I didn't push it too hard. Seemed like a fuel filter issue. I didn't remove the fuse before I changed out the pump and filter.

I didn't replace the wires. We ran the pump in a remote tank and it pumped fine. For some reason it's not curculating fuel through the fuel rail when it's installed int he car. I'm wondering about the fuel system relay...? All the fuses in the whole fuse block check out OK.

Anyone know where the fuel system relay is in this model?

Thanks,

Mike

I do know there is an inline filter just forward of the tank on my XG300 Aus model. Have you changed that as well ?
