So on my trip home I went to visit my uncle on long island. He currently drives a Ridgeline. He says filling that thing up is a waste of money and he wants to stop spending so much money on his cars. Its hard shopping with him, He can afford just about any car he wants and go thru cars like I change my underwear. He has had the Ridgeling less then 8 months and the s2000 before that 2 year. The 911 turbo dint even make it 6 months. We went and looked at the 4 cyl accord, mazda 6, and for fun a Koneigsegg CCX. After all these test drives (excluding the CCX) I told him to look at the new 2009 Sonata. He gave me the look like come on. I told him Hyundai has stepped up their game to trust me. So we did. He immediately fell in love with the sonata's new interior. as we drove it we noticed that it was actually noticeably quitier then the Accord especially at full throttle. Then for fun he drove the fully loaded v6 model. Needless to say he got the 4cyl fully loaded. (LX model I believe) w/ nav, leather ect. Quote from my uncle: "You know Tony the Sonata is just a little quitier, a little smoother, A better warranty and a much better deal! Now I see why you got one. Thanks for the suggestion"
Yay! another Honda owner turned Hyundai!
and for the record he took a huge hit on the ridgeline! $4,000 So if you own a truck I would get out of it now before gas prices go up more!

Another 4 cyl owner! Who loves ya baby? Good job V33! The checks in the mail. I'm sure you'll hear from brazell...why not an Azera? That man's wrath can be troublesome. :grouphug: If you own a diesel truck GET OUT NOW. Prices have plunged.

QUOTE(Tommer @ May 21 2008, 10:37 PM) In Regina Saskatchewan, there are reports about dealerships not even ACCEPTING SUVs on trade. They have too many on the lot collecting dust now. Wow, that $50,000 Ford Expedition is worth about $15,000 right about now. Maybe they'll start using them for Demolition Derbies!!! :trophy:
The demolition derbies have begun - about once a week in the Washington DC area, for some reason, someone drives an SUV into a house or convenience store. Maybe the drivers see those $7/gallon prices coming.
