Hey,

Jus wondering if anyone was able to source a iPod connector cable under $115.00.
I have just purchased a I30 and just found out that you need to purchase an additional cable.

If anyone could help !!

I think hyundai dealers sell them for $110+, $80 is cost price, maybe less. Ring up hyundai parts directly and ask for a quote? I'll try get some part numbers next week for you guys!

In America the cable only costs 24 USD for the dealer invoice. Some people paid less than 40 USD for this iPod cable.

Hey Danny,

Last I heard they didn't have the i30 yet (which they are going to call the Elantra Hatch or Sportswagon or something...Although maybe they use a similar cable in another model?)

Rgds,

Dazz

My Apologies Danny,

I didn't see those posts above yours .... :whistling: .... without seeing it it's hard to know if it's the same cable. Maybe another Hyundai over there has same feature?

I guess economies of scale come into these things probably sell 10 times as many in US as they would in little old Aus and anyway everything is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

If they can sell 'em at $100 plus they sure aren't gunna reduce them to $50 or less..

Regards,

Dazz
