Hey I'm a new owner :460:

Got a 08 Elantra GLS - automatic trans with sirius radio and AC package in sand color.
Paid 14400 + 300 for shock sensor upgrade. So about 14700 + tax. Also free lifetime tires included.

I think I got a great deal on it ! and I love the car ! I also own a 2008 Nissan sentra and can say that the hyundai is a lot better equiped for the price.

Bought my 08 GLS last Friday. Purple Rain. Prem pkg with the moonroof. Great car. First tank full of gas was double of my Ford Ranger. Combined city/hwy was 28 mpg.

Looking to buy an 08 Elantra or Sentra, Elantra seems to be the better bang for the buck... We just got a 08 Sonata last month and love it.
Good to hear you prefer the Elantra over the Sentra....

Have had my GL less than a week and I'm very happy with it. Extremely quiet on the road. Sound system is amazing. So crisp and clear with good bass. Seats are probably the only things I'm not too impressed with, but if that's the only issue I still have with the car in 3 years time then I'll be a happy camper!
