I have a friend in teh states who has asked every single Hyundai sales person in Austin where teh tire jack and tire iron is kept on my 2002 and NOBODY knows! I have asked people down here in Venezuela and nobody knows here either.
Does anybody know?

i have a 2005, and in it the jack and tire iron are in a compartment behind the back seat under the carpeting. between the back of the back seats and where the "latch" hooks are .

Do you have your owner's manual for the Santa Fe? Flip to section 3, page 4 " How to Change a Spare" for a diagram showing the location of this storage bin with the jack and jack handle.

Thanks! Even though I'm not the original poster, this helped me find them (I decifer the manual diagrams) and didn't look back far enough under the carpet! Now, lets pray that I don't need to use it!
