well i started on my sub install today....got the base built and am starting on the frame to raise the floor up 4" will have a lid on it and be in oem black carpet so it will look oem if anyone peeks in my window
ill post some pics of my progress....gonna do the upper parts first then when the weather makes up its mind i will fiberglass the under side and still be able to keep my spare tire!!

right now have a 10" alpine sub in the future might goto a 12"or15" have room to expand!!
have a vid of the angry lil sub from when i was test fitting it and turned it on just for the fun of it..hehe

angry sub test...hehe...just for fun doesnt sound well(sub) its free air no box underneath...a little seether gasoline as the test music......

this is just the base board, still have alot to do but this is just the first step in completing the project ill post some more pics as i make some more progress(its raining so that is really slowing me down!)

its sooo... small... im used to seeing my 2 12's or 2 10's... you should think about a second one so that it takes up more space and looks... bigger... lol

looks good! I agree with nobodies you could add another one. there is enough space.

So you got big pictures for the first time ;).

im such a slacker havent worked on this at all......hehe..ive been working working too much and hurt to **** much to work on the car....i will get this project done soon cause i so hate not having my bass kickin!!

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this turns out, so thanks for posting pics of the install! :beer:

I'd like to do something very similar... I believe it is a good idea to keep stereo installs "low profile" like this to reduce the risk of a break-in .
