Trying to test a misfiring plug but I don't know the plug order. If I'm facing the motor, is plug #1 on my far left or on the far right ??? And are they numbered consecutively?

Looking at the engine when standing infront of the car, the cylinders are:
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 (from left to right)
