Are the lights flashing? Are you sure the doors, hood and hatch are fully closed?

Well, if all the doors and hood are closed, possibly one of sesnors aren't working correctly or is misaligned. Usually it's the hood. Try opening the hood and holding down the bottom on the passenger side near the strut tower. Hold the button down with your hand while locking the car with the remote. If the lights flash then that's the sensor that needs to be aligned.

Your dealer may have to reprogram your key-fobs . It also might be a flaky BCM (body control module) .
