So how fast have you all brought your accents? The other day I brought it to 200km/h. It was rough and took a little while but when she got there it was a great feeling! Other then the fact that I did not want to turn cause that would have resulted in no more post on here from me.

160 and I figured that was enough.I had rather get to 60 fast that drive at sustained high speeds .
It just leaves too much room for Murphy's Law .LOL Or driver error.

I have wondered what they would do because I have had mine up to 100 mph and it was still pulling like crazy.

Mines a stick and the rpms were close to 6G. It was pretty scary since my front tires are balled and it was at night and there is a lot of deer around here....but it was worth it :) although i watched my gas gauge go down the whole time lol

200kph here as well. But took alongtime to get there. 170-180 is average high speed. But regular cruising is 120kph

i find that i can top out my car in less than a km. i mean, 0-140 just flys by but after that its a bit slow.
i did 200km/h through light freeway traffic the other day. some douche in a cav was riding my **** the whole way home even when he had an open lane to pass. so id dropped it to third and gunned it. he kept up till 140 and then his acceleration slowed. i guess he realized i wasnt scared to go really fast.

now that you mention the tire situation i shouldnt do those speeds on kumo tires. i dont think they are z rated tires

and as for turning at top speed... two hands on the wheel, take a deep breath and stay calm. if your alone on a highway or free way dont be affraid to use the whole road. imagine racing games and use the reality just like that. i do it alot now but its completly worth it. i wouldnt recomend "real life racing unless your alone, i know of meny people who lost control or hit some dirt and never came home.

my heart rate goes through the roof during street or track races by on the road by myself, i feel on top of the world. no better feeling... besides sex but thats another story in its self.

143 MPH on a good day, with a slight downhill. Pegged passed the speedo limit. With Z rated tires. Was fun. Could have gone more if there was a 6th gear. I went to cali 1 week and was did about 130 MPH or so cruising with about 5 other cars that I didn't know. It was nice. Gained alot of time.

just over 160kmh/100mph. gas is over $5/gallon & an excessive speeding ticket + additional fines and fees is over $1000 if you get caught, so f that noise.

i did do 197kmh in a 1985 vw golf cl on a desert highway several summers ago, though. that was my top driving speed ever.

220 kmph in my 2006 4 door accent, called verna CRDi VGT here in india. I have added a diesel tuning box from PSI Motor sport to increase the performance i am now running 130 BHp and 270 Nm torque. but i am running stock tyres , done 40000 kms already so about to go in for my first tyre change.

The car still had enough juice to probably carry one for another 20 kmph but couldn't bring myself to do it as mine is a non-ABS version

I went 215 kph few days ago (according to speedmeter), 4 door 2007 accent CRDI VGT, 135 HP (tunned) with 195/55/15 (I felt much "safer" than with 185/65/14 at speeds 180 kph+).
