The left side of my electronic climate control does not light up anymore. At night I can't see the AUTO, OFF and TEMP buttons do not light up. Is it something that can be fixed or do I need to replace the entire unit? If it can be replaced, is it something I can do myself? Any help on this would be appreciated.

My Santy has manual climate control and my bulbs went out about 8 months ago. I was able to do it myself. I'm not sure if the automatic is any different. But hang on to your wallets, the little bulb and bracket combo is about $20 a pop. The manual A/C has two of them. Ouch...

I seem to have the same problem. The right side of my manual climate control barely lights up. At night I can barely see the hot and cold nob as well as the "AC" indicator on the AC button. I was wondering if this is anyway related to the same problem you mentioned and solved on your Santa Fe? Secondly, the lights on my cd/radio do not light up. The cd/radio works fine just at night I can't see what buttons I am pressing. Is this also related to a dash light bulb problem, fuse or simple a malfunction in the unit?

The climate control bulbs are easy. The radio bulbs...ehh not so much. Rather than tear the radio apart to re-solder tons of little bulbs, it's easier (and probably cheaper) to just replace the radio. I replaced mine (wanted the 6-CD changer; no other reason) and got it off eBay for less than $50. Just do an eBay search 'Hyundai radio'.

Best of luck to you.
