I found out that our cars have lot of important carriers made from plastic. Easy to make, easy to brake, that's what I think. On my car the rear window had stopped moving due to broken plastic :(. U will have to remove the panel and take a look what is the cause.

cheers,
Mark

My 2000 elentra does the same thing. Husband tried to take the door apart to find out what was causing it...we couldn't even get the door off.

i'm assuming you are talking about the plastic runner that is attached to the bottom of the window? If so grease the track and the runner. And also use silicon spray on the rubber tracks the window goes in this will help the window to slide up more easily.. :)
