Ugh, so I stopped using my traditional cheap-o car soap that worked just fine and I got this STOP WAX NEVER WAX AFTER 4 WASHES nonsense and now I have these WATERSPOTS, that literally seem EMBEDDED into my paint.
This is not your ordinary run-of-the-mill waterspots that rub off with a little wax, I tried ICE detailing AND wax on small sections but neither worked. Oh and of course I tried washing it AGAIN with the 'STOPWAX'
WHAT DO I DO, it looks HORRENDOUS especially when pollen sticks to them!!!
I love spring, but my car is choking on my pollen.

Amazing story.
So I got the water spots out this morning (I was bored. morning class was cancelled)
I used MAGUIRES polish and cleaner. So my car was free of water spots, fresh tires, and a nice coat of wax.
PERFECT right?
Okay, so heres the good part, I now have a probably 2 by 2 inch gouge right between the door and tire, the metal is literally peeled back opening up into god knows where, it's a brownish metal. There is a 6-7 inch scatch down to the metal on the door, and the right quarter of the bumper, right behind the wheel,is lifted off flapping in the wind. There is some more paint damage but those are the two major **** ups
****
I am so ****. What a terrible day.I was trying to avoid a double parked truck and yeah. I f'd up. [slight language check]
