Hey all whats up. I went to the doctors this morning, and when I came out an hour later, I noticed this nice little tiny dent (about the size of a dime) with a scratch all the way down to the bare metal! It wasnt there before, and I dont know how it got there.

Anyways, I was wondering what I should do to it in order to prevent rust? Maybe some touch up paint (if anyone could recommend me some to buy online or w/e that would be awesome) Or any tips would be good. We have a lot of rain coming in on Thursday night into the weekend, and for the most part it will be in the garage, but will be subject to the weather when im at work Friday during the day.....dont want the elements to get to it if I dont have to.

Anyways heres the picture, sorry if its not clear, it is off my cellphone, but my digital camera decided it didnt want to work today. Thanks all!

Heres the picture: (its the url, for some reason it wont let me use the img tag to post it)

Yes, I have shares in the company. Ok, I don't, but I bought their product, and am very pleased. Don't even bother with the Hyundai paint pen. May as well shove it up your partsman's @ss.

I would brush on some primer first. Once dry, touch-up paint should be applied.

$38??? I bought a $14, 1 oz can, and that was it! I have enough paint for many chips, not just one!

Omg, You definitely got keyed.

I remember I was trying to park on a city street (meaning manhattan.)
And I politely asked a group of 3-4 street thugs to move out of my way.
They asked me if I would like my car keyed.
Needless to say I found a new parking spot.

I didn't bother with the primer, or clear coat, and the areas I touched up look great. No flaking, etc. Just as long as the area is clean, it'll stick, I guarantee. Wal-Mart for touch up paint??? Ewwwww.

What part of the car is that? It looks like the roof line just above the door. It looks like a flying rock ding to me?

The only time you see this very small chip is when you open the trunk.

The stuff I was talking about in previous posts is a rust neutralizer, meaning it turns rust into primer on contact. It's magic, I know. I've used it in the "pen sized" applicator before but can't find it anywhere anymore.

Click the link though for the thread where we were talking about it before. Hope this helps.
