I am going to add driving lights to my 08 santa fee - does anyone know where the trigger wire for the high beams is and what colour it is? I would like to tap into it near the headlights if possible. All help is appreciated

Any Hyundai mechanics on board? On my 03 sorento the trigger wire is in the wiring harness that runs to the lights and is the yellow wire - maybe the same on the santa fe? have to take a look when i have time to play around.

I'm not sure about other provinces but in Ontario, it's actually against the law to have more than 4 driving lights illuminated at once. If that's the case where you live, you will also need to use some form of relay to cut power to the low beams.

Yah both the low and high beam are lite when the driving lights are on - have used this on the Sorento for 5 years now with no problems or tickets - live in northwestern ontario and if anyone would like to see wildlife in the evening please driving up hwy 72 in the evening - am planning to install a set of lightforce 240's on the santa fe
