I have edited this post as it seems to be stirring a hornets nest. Hubby is very annoyed at me so when we get the cars I will most certainly spill all info on exactly what we got included and the price for both cars. In all fairness our fantastic prices are a one off due to a pricing error.

Louie

Congratulations,,,,,, a really great deal Louie.

I suppose buying in bulk can bring extra price reductions.

Maybe a thought that a group of potential buyers could, if circumstances were convenient, club together and organise to buy a number of vehicles from the one dealership to effect bulk-buying discounts.

Wish I had thought of that earlier but too late for me now, having paid a good deal more than you for my SLX diesel. :crying:

...hoping to hear more about the "new" i30 with factory cruise after you hopefully get it in July

Hi Loujohn,

Congrats on the 2 x i30s (is that one for Lou and one for John?) Well done although don't like the idea of them playing the discount game on such a popular vehicle. I guess that was no trade? :cigareta:

Not the best way to keep our resale values up..Ouch

Rgds,

Dazz

Hi Louie,

That's a fantastic price for those cars... and here i was thinking that i'd done well.

Are they auto's or manual's?

Tim.

Hi Tim, they are manuals, that might make the price look a bit better to some. The dealer said due to his mistake when originally pricing we are getting these for a steal, he still wanted to go ahead with the sales though as they are trying to be number sales team for these cars.

Hi Louie,

Doubt anyone will ever get a better deal than you. I am almost depressed with what I managed.

Can I ask what part of Australia you in?

Cheers

Great deal on the cars!

Bad for our resale values but great deal haha

BTW those vouchers if they are what they think they are are 2 x $500 vouchers for use on hotels/packages etc. are useless.

I've got $1000 lying around(probably expired) that i never ended up using because it costed more than to shop around to find a place on wotif etc.

Hmmm, got me thinking now.

I'm looking to order a 1.6CRDi manual with protectz pack and metallic paint for delivery sometime after I arrive in Sydney at the start of July. Anyone else thinking of ordering anything from a Hyundai dealer in the Sydney area soon? We may be able to get a similar deal if two or even more of us approach a dealer. Anyone interested?

Ps. What's this about cruise control from May 2008 build? I definately want that if it's available.

Sorry edited hubbys orders. Happy to give dealer name, state etc once the cars have arrived. Maybe I won't have egg on my face if something doesn't pan out.

You will be lucky to get one for that time with a protectz pack added, this has to be done on the assembly line so its a 14 wk wait plus the backlog thats already ordered now.
