Any comments out there on buying Mr. Clean AutoDry Pro-Series ($39.93) vs the Starter one ($17.99)?

The pro has higher pressure I believe, I haven't played with either of them, but I bet you the mr.clean website lists the differences.

I have the Mr. Clean kit. Very, very nice results, with NO manual drying, as long as you have SHADE! The Auto dry cartridges last for many dries, as well. I use maybe two a year, but that's from April to Octoburp.

Thanks for the input. I got the cheaper one today and used it on my car and the wives. It worked great although I did dry mine with a shammy still but I noticed the filtered water makes a difference. I didn't dry the wives and no streaks. I like it.

I've had the standard kit for about two years and love it. I had this one before the pro kit came out. The big differences are the pro kit provides:

~ 5x harder jet spray
Washing mitt included
Quick disconnect kit (which swivels) included
Soft touch grip
Organizing carrying case that ventilates and drains
The gun is black instead of blue

I think that's about it.

@ warped - the kit comes with "limited use" filters. Once you use those up and buy new filters they will last much longer than the limited ones.

You definitely want to wash out of direct sunlight or you will get spots, at no fault of the system. It's just the non-filtered water drying from the sun before you get a chance to rinse with the filtered water. If you do this absolutely no manual drying is needed. Even puddles near spoilers or wherever with evaporate without a trace. Enjoy !
