torbo's right.
i hear that if you have a k&n sticker, you dont actually need an air filter.

.. but for real, this seems to be a perpetually new thread, and replaces the previous one that was posted 2 weeks earlier, in a continuous cycle.
.. just search, and you'll find one of the many about this topic.

i cant imagine theres much to be done without a turbo. a chip, fmic, intake and exhaust is only gonna add a few hp but costs thousands. a turbo will cost alot but probably make the biggest difference.

the AEM SRI intake that alot of us put on our accents runs over $300 USD... simple enough to put on in the driveway instead of having the stealership charge you an arm and a leg to do it half-a s s ed.... i like mine, sounds great, adds a bit of pep to it. ive seen my scanguageII read 124HsP so far...

A sticker that actually says "turbo" will net the most horsepower. I recommend a "twin turbo" sticker setup.

Actually it's only 110, but I really hate to make you feel bad by saying that. :blownose:

The others are on to something, stickers FTW! For even more pep, I highly recommend the ricer thing - completely gut the interior, leaving just the seat, steering wheel, pedals, and maybe half the dash. Weight savings is essential for speed! Then, when you're done with all of that throw 500 pounds of stereo equipment in the trunk. j/k man.

Seriously though, I have no good ideas aside from intakes/etc. onetwenty has a good point, try checking the other threads, there are plenty of people who have done various mods. I'm sure you'll find something useful and cost effective. (just stay away from the cheap e-bay chips and electric superchargers, lol!)

I dont think there are cheap mods for performance.
But you have the AEM intake, and the cat-back and muffler from hyundai. They should work great.

OK guys how about answering his question and stop the silly remarks.

For cheap mods here a small list.

SRI, you can do this by buyign the expensive but very nice AEM one from the dealership. Or you can buy a 45' pipe and filter and just remove the top of yoru air box and hook up the piping and filter to the tube leading to your engine.

EXHAUST. Not one of yoru more cheaper mods, but yah you can buy the Dealership Vibrant Performance Cat back exhaust or just get one made at you local exhaust shop.

CHIP or ECU. To date there isn't anything out there for us. Unless you want ot partake in programming it yourself.

DASHLIGHT CONVERSION. You can buy 3mm LED bulbs and replace each LED bulb on the car one by one. Buy about 50 bulbs, you need it. Look into past posts for more information.

You can also go to Hyundai Canada and see what else they have for Mods.

Yeah I know its only 110hp but I added 2hp with my intake and exhaust... so sad 110hp is just so low.

Maybe you should try the stickers before you knock them :P

Seriously though, this question has been answered many, many times. A search in the search bar up at the top of the page will net plenty of results.
Erikgsi even started a thread with a list of websites for aftermarket parts for our car (Thanks man, this is in my favorites). I will even give you the link.
