 1996 Elantra Speedometer & Odometer, Quit working! Cable or Electric?

Over about a weeks time. My speedometer quit working then started working then quit again then started again then quit for good. Also the odometer and trip gauge quit at the same time. Is the speedometer and odometer in my 96 Elantra electric or cable?

HELP!!!
