Turbo the 4 to get the same (or more) power for less money, work and weight.

Dear Sicotic,

Wherever you obtain the 2.7 liter V-6 Delta engine, pull the complete drivetrain with engine, transmission, half-shafts, struts, hubs and and brakes. Pull the complete engine wire harness and ECU. You will need all of these parts.

Yes, you can turbo the Beta. The engine is relatively bullet proof like the Civic VTEC, and can take large boost. The Delta is rated at 172 hp. The Beta can easily be boosted to 200, 250 or 300 horsepower.

Why don't you work up a cost analysis side-by-side. Better plan that a turbo install will be at least $4,300 for a complete kit purchase and install if you do some of the mechanical work your self. If you try to buy the parts and pieces on eBay, you could drive this price lower but you will need a saavy performance shop to review and determine if the components will work well together.

Byron
