The bulb in my 2006 Tiburon glove box will not illuminate. It's apparently NOT a bad bulb since a new replacement does not correct the problem. I intend to have it looked at under my warranty, but int he meantime, I thought someone else may have solved a similar issue. Thanks.

Are you testing it with the parking/headlights on? The glovebox light only lights up when the parking/headlighs are on and the box is opened. If you open the box with the parking/headlights off, the light does not go on.

NOVA:

Thanks for the response. I've only had the car for a couple of weeks. I just tested the light WITH the headlights on, however, it still doesn't illuminate. I must have some other issue.

I'd suggest testing the leads to the bulb to make sure you have a good ground and a full 12v.
