Hi All,

I need help finding a TSB or other document regarding ATF specifications for warranty purposes.

My 2006 Santa Fe is fast approaching the 30k mark and I would like to upgrade from the ATF SPIII that is in the transmission to the current ATF (ATF +4, I think). The reason I want to do this is to improve fuel economy and lower the heat from the engine compartment.

Thanks in advance for your help - Nito

You can switch to the new ATF as long as it's still SP-III approved. **** you can switch to any ATF you wish as long as it meets the SP-III requirements. NO Warranty Issues.

Thanks for the response Komptek. However, I want to avoid universal ATF due to potential warranty issues.

Thanks again - Nito
