Hi Lakes,

My Comp insurance is thru Allianz and I only pay like $25 per month for each vehicle (about 300 P.A.) and would be even less with one annual premium. Excess is only $250 I think and includes 1 free windscreen a year. My last company wanted well over $400 unless I took a $1000+ excess... so they got the flick!

On the negative side we park both cars in the driveway (at least until we build our new house) but being over 50 with clean driving records and having an exclusion for drivers under 30 gets us a very good deal don't you reckon.

Cheers,

Dazz

Hi all,

Insurance companies seem to have weird and wonderful ways of coming up with prices. I received a quote of over $600 from the company you are 'lucky you are with', but managed to get $312 from my current insurer, the motoring organisation one in the ACT :) .

Strange thing, if I had taken out a new policy it would have been much dearer, but since I transferred the existing policy from my aging Pug, it was massively cheaper. This also takes account of other policies with same company, my age (I am even older than Dazz!) :whistling: and exclusion of under 30s.

Like most things, it seems if you shop around you will get a good deal.

Regards

Lawrie

John - just get in the back seat and push the back of the headrest forwards until it clicks and springs back a notch.

Re Headrests adjustment.

See the thread entitled Headrests. Once you get used to the methos of adjustment, it is so easy to use.

Shambles thanks m8, just, as i have mentioned i am deaf, due to a accident years ago but thats another story, so i won't hear the click. if i can't get it to go back i will just remove it. but seems strange that every passenger side head rest i saw in i30 was set foward what's the game? if it was like that drivers side you would notice that on your first test drive.
