Hey Everyone. Just bought a yellow 08 accent and I stumbled into this little corner of the web...

Now, I was going to kinda throw out my plans and questions, and see what you guys think.

So far, I have tinted the windows and ordered a set of Black Enkei J10 17" rims (should arrive middle of next week).

Also, I was wondering if anyone had found a blackout kit for the tail lights of our cars? Like the tint film stuff? Thought it would look good.

Does anyone know who makes H.I.D. kits for these cars and if so for how much? Are there aftermarket headlights yet? or Should I just do the black casing mod I read about on here?

Going to add a sway bar and lowering kit at some point soon. Would there be any clearance issues with the 17s?

And Finally, I was wanting to replace the grille. I kinda like the mesh look... I saw someone had done mesh on their foglight areas... Is it possible to do that for the whole grille and foglight area? How would that look?

Thanks in advance for your input. I did search before I posted, so if I asked something thats already been answered, feel free to let me know and I'll just search again.

You wont have issues with 17'', as long as it is 4x100. as for the offset I recommend +40 or +42 mm.

Smoked tail lights, I used the smoked out vinyl/tint. You need practice to do this. I got the vinyl from ebay. I would like to try the nightshades to see how it comes out, but I already did it.

About the HID, you will see later.

Dawg "Welcome.....heres a pic of a nice grill. I like this one. "
Very nice, but can you get a second one for the foglights to go with... and call me a "bum", butt I don't know if it'll work... fit looks a little..tight.

Rondy, Thank You for the answer. Just what I needed to know. Any thoughts on the HID kits off ebay? They are way cheaper and I've had one in my Mustang for awhile now with no problems. Also, going to order that vinyl kit soon then.

Komptek, Thank you for the video, sounds great. I was afraid it would be to ricey, but nope. I didn't even know hyundai made an axle-back??? The stupid parts guy at my stealership said they didn't. Where did you get yours. Also, by catback do you mean another kit... or do you mean go to a local shop and have them fab up the rest of the piping?

Wizzzer, Msvg, Naitomea Neko, I only have a crappy cell phone camera, but I can try and take some pics. Wheels/Tires should go on next friday, so for sure by then.

Everyone else, sorry, most of my questions were easily answered with a better search and two minutes of my time, so I apologize for being the Newb.

Here's the parts for Cat back

Performance Axle Back Exhaust $502.85 cdn
(IMG:http://punko.ca/hyundai/images/007BL-10200.jpg)
Performance Mid-Pipe $346.95 cdn
(IMG:http://punko.ca/hyundai/images/007BL-10205.jpg)

I know there was a picture of a header, but nothing release to-date. These part are Canadian only. You can call Westside Hyundai (780) 484-3311 and they'll ship them to yah. Or you can just pickup what you want for an exhaust and get a shop to fab up the midpipe for you. Bonus of this system, it's completely bolt-on.

Cool. Thank You. Looking forward to that exhaust. (Just need to pay sales tax ect first..) need another paycheck....

Also, What trim kits are there out there. I saw the carbon fiber ones but I suspect they might be expensive. I actually wanted to do door, radio area, a/c area, and maybe console in body color/fiberglass but I wasn't going to do it to the original equipment. Thoughts?

You could send everything you want done to B&I Trim and pick the pattern you wish. Would be the same quality as teh Hyundai Canada ones. As for PST, not in Alberta you don't pay that crap.
