This past winter my front bumper was hit by a piece of flying snow/ice from another vehicle. It struck my front bumper directly on the left fog light and pushed the light out of the bumper. The light is held to the bumper my molded stand offs and 2 of these have torn away from the inside of the bumper. The local Hyundai dealer said I might be able to glue these 2 standoffs back onto the bumper if I can find the correct glue or epoxy. The only other option is a new bumper and paint which will cost close to $1000 before I'm finished. So I think I will try the glue first. Does anyone know of a good glue or epoxy that will work on bumper plastic? I was thinking of PL construction adhesive.... would that work? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I have had to do some very serious repair work on various things, including the front end of my Hyundai Azera recently.

See the enclosed pictures. These pix are of the lower splash shield where the mounts got broken from a cement parking lot barrier.

This product really works quite well and I suspect it is also available in Canada.

Be sure to roughen up the surface with sand paper prior to applying the epoxy. Follow the instructions carefully and the epoxy will do the job for you.

I have saved thousands of dollars over the years using this product. Once, I even patched the side of a power lawn mower crank case when a rod came through it. I rebuilt the lawn mower using the same crank case and it lasted for another 7 years. Just one of many examples.

Good luck and be patient with your repair project.

Thanks David. That's exactly what I was looking for and I hopefully it's available here in Canada. Your pics were great and very similar to what my repair should look like when completed. Thanks again... you may have saved me a bundle. Or at least a couple of tanks full of gas. Cheers.
