Hmmmmm.....That's not the one with the wiper motor that causes the engine to stop and kills everyone recall is it ?

Honda said Wednesday the recall involves Accords from the 2003 model year. The automaker says water could enter an area near the windshield wiper motor and cause corrosion.

The corrosion could cause the electrical circuit breaker inside the motor area to fail and could prevent the motor from working, potentially leading to a crash.

eeewwwww..... It is !

Very funny! Dissin' my Accord, eh?.

Lets see;

Accord = leather seats, 6 cd changer, economical-yet peppy, comfortable, quiet, fairly nice looking style, manual tranny, and extremely R.E.L.I.A.B.L.E.

As opposed to......

Cheap (mouth full :w00t: ) chevy truck = None of the above. :harhar:

We don't call this car..."ol' faithful" for nuttin'. I'll take the Accord in spite of the recall and keep my fingers crossed that the windshield wipers don't kill me. ^_^

UH.... I didn't recall it. And I like Honda's... No diss here. I believe I called the Chevy cheap...and it is.....It also has not been in the shop DEAD for a week...And I have yet to have one problem with it.

Solara = heated leather seats, 6 cd JBL sound system , peppy 3.3L V6, comfortable, quiet, fairly nice looking style, auto tranny with manual shift, and extremely R.E.L.I.A.B.L.E. No recall :bwekk:

Azera... Body control module. Will be here tomorrow..... Dealer doesn't have a clue...this is Hyundais fix. Almost all electronics go through body control module. (So they say)

You know I was just messing with ya right? :D
You probably feel the same about your truck as I did about my old 77' Corolla wagon. That thing would not die and it was built like a little tank. I wish I still had it. (IMG:http://www.collectorcarads.com/Picture3/77SR5019.jpg) :(

Well yeah :P
Truck is just something you have to have out in the sticks here....State law :whistling:
I had a 77 Celica that was indestructible...rear wheel drive...what a great little car.
Same..wish I still had it. And the 69 Mustang and the 70 FJ40 Landcruiser... etc etc. Man what a collection I would have if I just had all the cars I once owned back.

mommy :blownose:

(read this with a Louisiana accent)

Yep, I know about them trucks.
I grew up in the piney woods of southeast Louisiana right near the Louisiana/Mississippi state line where thar' was a pickup in every yard.......next to the trailer........by the chicken coop.......near the trash pile where the empty Bud cans and the septic tank is........ not far from the deer stand. H.eLL, you had to have a truck just to negotiate them dam oyster shell driveways. :P

But these days, being a sophisticated city boy and all, I gots to have me one of them fancy cars soes I can impress the neighbors and showum' I have some class. I couldn't afford a Coupe DeVille so I gots me one of them Korean Buicks. :essen37:

Not my dealers idea...... Hyundai's idea.

Probably the ditch. :whistling:

Oh..... My service manager said that since this is an Azera that this has become a really big deal. The whole thing is being handled out of Texas by Hyundai.
Who knows.

Hey Brazzel!

Even I remember the famous car kisses tree thread. Lots of sheet metal damage.

Still, not likely this caused your dead battery. The new dashboard will be nice.

I don't know..... I've been kinda ignoring the whole thing.

Putting 31/10.50 Yokahama Geolander A/T-S's on my truck

HOLY COW! The resale value just made a dramatic jump, didn't it?

Ok, so here's the deal. My Azera has 17,700 miles on it and it's a year and 10 months old. You make another appointment with your dealer to have the same thing done again. I'll drive my car down to you. You take in in to get the repair done and while the work is being done, I'll spring for the lobsters and beer or the filet mignon and wine or the crawfish & moonshine or whatever your fancy is. :innocent: Heck, I'll even spring for lunch as well.

Whatta ya say, deal?

I'm willing to drive from southern Arizona with my Azea that only has 16,000 miles on her.

Do I hear a higher bid? :)

Of course Brazzel, I don't know what the laws are in Alabama but here I think you'd have to re-title it to record it as "not actual mileage" or "mileage discrepancy" or something -
