OK....I think my Azera has got it out for me. I drove it all over yesterday and put gas in it for the week. I get up this morning to go to work and it is TOTALY dead....not even a dash light. Checked everything...nothing left on...nothing open. Been on charger all day. Glad I have my truck for backup. What the heck is wrong with her ? ...What did I do ? :crying:
She's going to see Dave here real soon ! I'm having the easyout turned off.....The auto unlock turned off when put in park... The shade fixed and the shock TSB <~~ At last.... Rattle right rear door.. And the roar from rear looked at.....And probably a few other things I can't remember. :P
Sad when you trust your cheap a$$ Chevy truck more than your $30,000 car.

Total meltdown......won't start...click click click. And the parking lights are on and will not turn off. Only the two outside rear taillights are on...not the ones on the trunk lid and the two front are on...the switch is OFF. Been on charger all day...was fine yesterday. WTF ?

No....... but it charged fine last week when it died on me. Anyway... It's on a tow truck on it's way to the dealership. Good advertisement for the Azera for them.

Roadside assistance really works ....even in your driveway

I keep forgetting about the free roadside assistance. Guess its a good thing I haven't needed it yet. Sounds like you've got a current draw somewhere. Hopefully it didnt toast your battery.

If so....... It's Optima time

Not all bad, I've wanted to take care of these TSB's and a few little problems anyway for some time now.
Maybe a little dealership therapy will change her mood :P

Jeez, no joy in mudville. I guess the dealer will get to figure it out - and I'm sure we'll all be quite interested in what might have caused that.

The dealer should replace the battery if it's toast, right? Under warranty? Or does it not cover "wear parts"? Hmm...

Battery is covered under warranty for 2 years for a full replacement. I think after that they start to pro-rate the core and you incur a small replacement charge which grows over time.

I had mine replaced at the end of last year...no questions asked.

With that kind of meltdown... dunno. A drop of condensation got inside the ECU and fused some stuff? I don't know that that would explain anything having to do with the battery but the randomness at the end, maybe...

WELL !! It is a melt down and it has them stumped. It has the Hyundai tech line stumped also.
Has new shocks on it though

I wonder if this battery problem is something related to the accident and subsequent repair. How long has it been between the repair and this battery problem? Keep us posted.

Not caused by the wreck guys..... But I can sure understand you wanting it to be. Nothing in the engine compartment was touched... nothing but sheet metal along the left side. No impact...No airbags. Most of the damage was dragging it out of the ditch and grinding along a tree.
They still can't figure out what's wrong.
You may want to buy a cheap Chevy pickup as backup :whistling: By the way.... it's running fine.... with three times the miles.
