Yes, I'm going insane with the car being slow. The days are warming up and so are the nights, so I really want to throw around the idea of a Turbo.
For me, you can't beat a the feeling you get when the boost from the turbo throws you back and the noise of the blow off valve. Thing is, I want this car to be silent. I'm plan on re-cycle the blow off to make it as silent as possible, I don't want anyone to know anything about this car and for them to expect nothing.
The next problem, is finding a turbo and intercooler OR a Supercharger that fits. ...thats where I need the help. So if anyone can pull up any links or share their knowledge it would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank You!!!!

Huge noisy blow-off valves are over used. I think the 'woo woo woo' turbo stall sounds cooler. Thats when you don't dump the excess intake boost, instead the wastegate side dumps externally (rally car style).

QUOTE(fastmov4 @ Apr 21 2008, 10:49 AM) If you plan on running an aftermarket ECU (like AEM EMS or something similar), I'm guessing you can do anything you want. That will be the $$$ part. Building up a turbo kit or S/C kit should not be that expensive, maybe $5K for 300chp. But the EMS and the time to program and tune could get pricey... Good luck, and let us know how things go! Chris 0 The existing ECU MUST remain in the HD because it monitors/operates the electrical system, ABS, EPS and auto trans. A piggyback is required. I'm building a turbo kit for my car. Already have a built engine to drop in.
